Rise Recovery was created to offer adult men a structured, licensed residential program where recovery is approached with consistency, accountability, and respect. Our focus is on helping individuals stabilize, build practical life skills, and develop a strong foundation for long-term independence.
Our program provides 24-hour staffing and evidence-informed care in a safe, supportive residential environment. Treatment integrates individualized counseling with intentional, group-centered programming, allowing residents to engage in meaningful clinical work while benefiting from peer accountability, connection, and shared responsibility.
Rise Recovery operates through a clearly defined, phase-based model. Expectations and privileges increase as residents demonstrate growth, leadership, and readiness, supporting real-world preparation, healthier family relationships, and successful community reintegration.
Rise Recovery is guided by a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals and an active Board of Advisors. Together, the Rise team provides clinical oversight, operational integrity, and a shared commitment to ethical, person-centered care.
Rise Recovery is designed as a six-month residential program, providing sufficient time for stabilization, skill development, and meaningful preparation for long-term independence. While six months is the intended framework, treatment at Rise Recovery is individualized, not time driven.
Length of stay is determined through ongoing clinical assessment, resident engagement, and demonstrated readiness rather than a fixed timeline. In some cases, a shorter course of treatment may be clinically appropriate and discussed collaboratively. In other cases, residents may benefit from extended time beyond six months to further stabilize, strengthen skills, or complete transition planning.
Everyone’s treatment plan is shaped by their needs, progress, and readiness. Clinical judgment, individualized goals, and the resident’s overall progress guide all decisions related to length of stay. Rise Recovery is committed to working transparently with residents and referral partners to explore options across higher and lower levels of care when clinically indicated, ensuring treatment remains responsive, ethical, and aligned with each individual’s needs and long-term wellbeing.
Life at Rise is structured and participation based. Residents are expected to engage fully in the routine of the program, take responsibility for shared expectations, and follow through on daily commitments. Life skills are practiced in real time, including cooking, cleaning, employment preparation, and building consistent routines that support independence. Treatment is group centered, with an emphasis on peer accountability, shared responsibility, and mutual respect. Residents are also supported in reflective and expressive work, including written autobiography and creative outlets, while planning intentionally for what comes next – such as employment, family relationships, and reintegration into the community.
Nicotine use is recognized as a substance use disorder and is treated as part of the overall recovery process at Rise Recovery. Residents who use nicotine products are expected to address nicotine dependence during treatment. Rise Recovery collaborates with smoking cessation resources and expects all residents who use nicotine to be actively engaged in a smoking cessation plan by the start of their third week. Support is provided to help residents approach this process safely, realistically, and with clinical guidance.
Rise incorporates and strongly encourages 12-Step recovery involvement as part of the broader treatment experience. Community-based recovery meetings are recommended to support accountability, peer connection, and continuity of care following discharge.
Residents may pursue employment once they have advanced into the appropriate phase of the program. Employment is introduced intentionally and only when it supports stability, recovery engagement, and overall treatment goals. Work responsibilities are balanced with required programming, group participation, and clinical expectations to ensure recovery remains the primary focus.
At Rise Recovery, our mission is to walk beside individuals as they reclaim their lives from substance use. We offer structure, support, and hope when it’s needed most. Through personalized care, life-skill development, and meaningful community connection, we help individuals rise above their past and build a future they can be proud of. Recovery is more than healing the individual—it’s about restoring families, rebuilding trust, and reigniting purpose. Rise Recovery is here for every step of that journey.
At Rise Recovery, treatment is structured around clear stages of growth. Residents move through a phase-based model that begins with stabilization and progresses toward independence, responsibility, and long-term stability. Each phase builds on the last, allowing expectations and privileges to increase as accountability and readiness are demonstrated.
Safety, consistency, daily structure, and engagement in group expectations.
Increased participation in shared responsibilities and goal development related to work and support systems.
Employment readiness, time management, leadership, and healthy decision-making.
Aftercare planning, housing stability, employment, and family or community reintegration.
We maintain clear community standards that support safety, dignity, and mutual respect within our program. These expectations help create a stable, supportive space where individuals can focus on their recovery while contributing to a culture of accountability and respect. When challenges or concerns arise that impact trust or emotional wellbeing, they are addressed promptly and thoughtfully to support resolution and the overall health of the community. Our traumas may look different but we all carry them. Rise is a place where everyone can feel seen, safe and supported; we lift each other up – not despite our pain but because of it.
